Volunteer Support

Volunteer action at the CSSS-IUGS is synonymous with the quality of life of the residents in all four residential centres. That is why volunteers are special and are an essential part of the team at the CSSS-IUGS.

In order to express its gratitude and to support its volunteers in their praiseworthy work, the CSSS-IUGS offers them:

  • a complete training program;
  • conferences;
  • a free parking permit;
  • social activities;
  • refund of certain expenses related to volunteer work;
  • a volunteer lounge;
  • plenty of unsolicited recognition from staff members, families and residents.

“I wish to thank the volunteers for all of their kind gestures. It is these gestures that create bonds and improve our quality of life.”

Ms. Ouellet, a resident
