Physical Impairment

An interdisciplinary team at the CSSS-IUGS provides assistance through activities and other means to support the home maintenance of disabled persons and natural caregivers.

This team is composed of many professionals such as nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, health and social services assistants, physical rehabilitation therapists, occupational therapists and respiratory therapists.

The interdisciplinary home support team welcomes persons, assesses their overall needs, informs them, guides them to the appropriate services and resources and takes charge of the situation depending on the problem.
