Oncology

An interdisciplinary team at the CSSS-IUGS provides assistance through activities and other means to support cancer patients and their caregivers.

This team is composed of many professionals, including social workers, pivot nurses in oncology, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, and a nutritionist.

The interdisciplinary team in oncology and palliative care welcomes persons, assesses their overall needs, informs them, guides them to the appropriate services and resources and takes charge of certain cases depending on the problem.
