Creation of the CHSLD Estriade following the merger of Foyer St-Joseph, Foyer de Bromptonville and Résidence de l’Estrie

Creation of the Sherbrooke Geriatric University Institute following the integration of Hôpital D’Youville and the Centre hospitalier de Sherbrooke.

Official designation of the Research Centre on Aging and creation of the Expertise Centre of the Sherbrooke Geriatric University Institute

1999

Merger of CLSC SOC and CLSC Gaston-Lessard, giving rise to the CLSC de la Région-Sherbrookoise

2002

The CLSC de la Région-Sherbrookoise is renamed CLSC de Sherbrooke

The CHSLD Estriade, which includes the Résidence de l’Estrie and Foyer St-Joseph, is integrated with the IUGS

The Health and Social Services Centre - University Institute of Geriatrics of Sherbrooke is officially created on February 5
